i passed my engineering in 2011. i belong from a government institute with negligible placement facility.what to do to enter IT.Help.

i am currently working in BPO. i have less percentage aggregate in my enginnering. can you please tell me which course to adopt for a good future in IT industry. i have interest in technical stuffs to which i was never exposed.

    Hi Utkarsh,As you have stated in your question, "interest in technical stuffs to which i was never exposed", I would request you to first elaborate on this; as to which kind of technology you wish to explore and make a career out of, so that it becomes easier for us to guide you better.As for the placement problems are concerned, usually it is a scenario in government run institutes but then it is you who needs to prove his mettle even if you were given placement assistance.     Hi, either try and attend some additional IT course from some reputed institutes like Aptech, NIIT, CMS etc as many of such kind of institutes also support campus placement facilities. Alternatively, you can try and gain some specific IT knowledge e.g if you are more keen for Software segment, try and learn programming languages / JAVA/ HTML etc. If your interest is in Hardware, learn the tricks of the trade and then go all out and look for the job opportunities.
