I read in the news that architecture is no longer a high standard job, is it correct?

Hi, I would suggest you to believe in work not in word. If architecture would not provide a job, then why are the universities/colleges running? All you need is to stay focused on your goal. A good colleges definitely provides a good placement, if you successfully qualify your interview. Architect have a great value in moving market. All the best.

5 years agoFuture of architects is very bright in India. Presently, about 30000 of them are registered actively practicing architects. In India, a vast majority of people is denied the services of an architect. Particularly the rural populace. Ideally every Municipal Corporation should have employed architects for checking the various building plans which are submitted to them for approval. Similarly PSUs, Companies also need in-house architects. Housing finance/ Banks etc. Should also maintain architects as field officers before disbursing housing loans.
