I recently passed class 12th with 87% marks in WBHSE. If I study agriculture, then after B.Sc, can I get a good job offer?

B.Sc agriculture is a broad-based course that deals with production of food and horticultural crops, rearing of farm animals, agricultural extension, rural economy and rural development, working with farmers, environmental health, etc. B.Sc agriculture has diverse scope and you can get the jobs with firms of the private or public sectors. With public sector firms, you can get employed as Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS). A few other areas where employment is offered are banks, dairy consultancies, insurance companies and the animal industry. Many areas are available to choose your career: Agriculture Marketing Banking and Cooperation Dairy Technology Fisheries Science Food Science and Technology

You can definitely get good jobs after completing B.Sc agriculture, especially in government sector.
