I scored 2909 OBC rank & 11045 general rank in UPSEE 2016. Can I get civil branch in KNIT & BIET since I have not got any college till now?

I got 94.5% in ISC 2016 and 32695 OBC rank in JEE Mains 2016. Will I be able to get any college or should I drop an year?

    Himanshu, if your ranks are not letting you take admission in your preferred branch go for admission in some good private university where you can get admission on basis of your marks too.
    These days we have so many good private universities which offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria.
    Check the websites of some good universities or call on their toll free no.s for more details.

If, as an OBC candidate, you do not provide your income certificate at the UPTU (UPCET) counseling, you might not be eligible for reservation benefits. Proof that your family's yearly income is within the OBC category's stated limit requires an income certificate.
