    Reva is a good option.You can try Alliance and Acharya also.Those are also well reputed and matching your rank.

    Getting CSE branch will be tough at this rank. For Reva University, the last year computer science cutoff was around 25000 (closing rank) though for mechanical, it was around 50000. Hence, you are likely to get into it.

If you belong to the General AI quota, yes 29000 in KCET is considered to be a good rank for BTech admission at CMR University. In 2025, the closing ranks ranged between 36709 and 55398 in General category, therefore candidates with a lower cutoff rank of 29000 are more likely to secure a seat at CMR University for BTech course. However, final admission also depends on minimum eligibility, seat availability in a particular round, etc.

 Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) results have been announced for all BE/BTech specialisations for the General AI category. As per the KCET Cutoff 2025, the cutoff ranged from 234 to 15717.5 in the first and the last round closing ranks. The hardest specialisation for admission proved to be B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the last round closing cutoff with 742 as the qualifying rank.
