I scored 50 marks in JEE Mains 2018, my category is SC. Can I get good branch in NIT, Surathkal? I got 82% in board exam.

Dear Likitha, with these marks your tentative rank would be 302217 and with this rank it will get somewhat difficult for you to get NIT, Surathkal. Sorry friend you are not able to get NIT Surathkal, but you can get other government colleges on the basis of category. Try for state-level counselling or go for the private colleges.

No, NIT Surathkal is not possible with this though you can check the cutoff of other NIT's of lower rankings. MANIT Kurukshetra or Durgapur NIT is preferred.

No, you cannot get any NIT or IIIT as your marks are too low. You should either try for government or private engineering like Nirma university, SKIT, JECRC, LPU, Arya college Jaipur, Poornima engineering college Jaipur etc. Best of luck.
