I scored 71 percent. Should I opt for a drop to prepare for IIT? I scored 100 marks in JEE.

You have good marks in JEE. You can get government colleges of your state it's better to try once in the state-level counselling. Taking drop is not a good option because to get NIT, you must have 75 percentage in 12th so if you take a drop, then also you will not get any NIT software scoring good m

A casual suggestion, before you jump to conclusion for your future-Ask yourself if you are willing to give your 100% and if it is what you want for your future.
If the answer to both questions is yes then you should prepare for IIT. 100 is a good score for beginners, if you prepare for exam thorough
