Achieving the 78 percentile in the CAT exam ensures that you have studied well. Getting admission at PIBM do ask for a good CAT percentile but apart from that you also need to fulfill some other parameters. Securing a seat at PIBM depends on multiple evaluative dimensions beyond just the percentile.

Being a former student of PIBM, my experience says yes, you can definitely get admission at PIBM with 78 percentile in CAT. One thing keep in mind is that PIBM does not rely only on CAT percentile – they also accept scores from XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, and they even have their own aptitude process call
