If you belong to general category, then it is quite difficult for you to get any college in primary rounds of counselling but yes, in the last round of counselling, you will definitely get any college without any problem.

    Hello,
If you are a general category student, then you may not get colleges like IITs or NITs with 81 marks in Mains. Moreover, your class 12th marks should be greater than 75% for them. It depends on the cutoff of every year. But, you can get other government colleges and private colleges. All the best.

    Hello,
I think you should give a try in various reputed private institutions in the country because getting into an NIT would be difficult for you assuming that you do not belong to SC or ST category.

Well, you should first check your predictable colleges through Shiksha portal. Otherwise, it depends on your caste. If you are a general category student, then it may be difficult to get admission in any reputed government college through JoSAA.

You can try for government colleges (state run) and central government universities. Also, give a try for the reputed private institutions.

If you have any reservations, you may get any government College for B.Tech. Instead of IIT and NIT, there are more government colleges across India like MBM Jodhpur. But, it will depend on your rank not just marks. All the best.

I don't think so that you can get admission via JEE Mains because 84 marks is not enough, so you should get try in private college.
