I scored 89% in 10th PSEB board & if I score 90% in 12th PSEB, so do I need to appear for NEST or JEE exam or not for admission in LPU?

Dear Navdeep, Let me share the eligibility for the BTech in Information Technology programme at LPU with you. You have to qualify either JEE mains or LPUNEST You should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English, Maths, and Physics. Moreover, you have to qualify for the either LPUNEST exam or should have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech IT. There are a few parameters I would like to share with you why IT is good at LPU. Great Placement: LPU has a good placement record for IT students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 LPA. PEP Classes- LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training &amp; Placement Institution in India. Well to clear your point of doubt, let me explain, in LPU if you are applying for admissions in B.Tech CSE, the following scholarship will be applied for JEE mains qualifier If JEE score is &gt;=95 percentile scholarship is 30% If JEE score is in between 90 - 95 percentile scholarship is 25% If JEE score is in between 85 - 90 percentile scholarship is 20% The process of qualifying the criterion of admission you have to qualify LPU NEST and the eligibility for B.Tech CSE in LPU is: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. LPUNEST is a National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to different programs in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the eligibility basis for admission and for scholarships provided to students.
