I scored 96.86 in CMAT 2019 & paid 1st instalment of Jaipuria, Lucknow. Is it good to go or should I fill the form of Welingkar, Mumbai too?

I guess it is good to go with Jaipuria, Lucknow. Both Welingkar and Jaipuria stands on the same level in terms of placement and in future career journey.

Hello! In terms of almost all aspects (location, rankings, infrastructure, industry exposure, placements), Welingkar is better than Jaipuria. You should ideally fill the application form with that CMAT score and appear for the GD-PI rounds to gain some interview experience. It might prove to be useful later on. Good luck!

If anyone has CMAT percentile between 95 and 100, he/she can apply for Jaipuria Institute of Management. Remember the CMAT/MAT/XAT/CAT score contribute to 45% weightage only during admission process, other factors like your GD, PI, past experience, and your academic performance contribute to 65%. So, prepare well for the personal interview and group discussion also. Let me share the weightage of scores during admission process, it will clear the doubts from the first part of the question:
    Score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT 45% weightage
    Case-based Group Discussion - 15%
    Personal Interview - 20%
    Academic Performance - 15%
    Work Experience, S

You can fill form for Welingkar as well, as they accept scores above 80 percentile.
