You could explore the following options:
1.try for getting admission based on management quota. This would involve payment of some capitation fees. OR
2.prepare yourself better and then reappear for CAT
3.pick up a job, work for some years and then opt out for Executive MBA/distance MBA from a reputed college OR
4. work for some years and then reappear fro CAT to pursue full time MBA -
Hi Archit! For getting admission in college , one has to score a good percentile in CAT, as percentile is the main criteria for the colleges. So, for now, you have the following choices:1. if its possible for you , then you may go for management quota2.You may also try to study well this year and appear CAT for the coming year.3. You may try for a job and get an experience for 2 years . Then, apply for CAT for MBA.

Yes, there are many good colleges that accept CAT scores.

To make it to the top 30 B Schools in India, you should score a minimum of 99 percentile, in the CAT exam. You can also look at the Xavier's' Aptitude Test (XAT). Lot of reputed B Schools accept the XAT score, apart from CAT. Apart from this, many reputed B Schools, have their own exam, which is another option you can look at, as in, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies & Research (N - MAT), Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Symbiosis (SNAP) and so on

8 years agoThe top colleges have no need to compromise on their admissions. If they are slack, their reputation will be at stake. The middle level colleges may display an attitude of compromise. There, one can try, if there is a need. -
It completely depends on the colleges that what percentile they are accepting.

No because the sole criteria for admission in any good mba college is entrance exam score. Now it depends how low you scored so accordingly you can get admission.
