On the basis of JEE main rank, you could get a seat in NITs and IIITs but not in IITs. You should visit https://josaa.nic.in/josaaorcrarchieve/Result/OpeningClosingRankArchieveN.aspx?Year=2017 and check the previous year's cutoff's of your HOMESTATE NIT first and then the other NITs you want.
