I secured 7000 rank in WBJEE. Can I get admission in this college?

If you are a general rank holder, then getting into the above -mentioned streams in any of the known government engineering colleges will be difficult for you, (I think you can try out IT at Jalpaiguri or Kalyani government engineering colleges, you might be fortunate enough in the 3rd round) Unfortunately, there will be no room for you in JU and IIEST Shibpur with the above-mentioned rank, provided if you are a general category student. However if you opt to study in non-government engineering colleges, you can get IT in IEM but not CSE, same with Heritage, IT is a guarantee however if you are lucky enough, you can get CSE in perhaps the 3rd or 4th round of counselling in Heritage. PS: Some guy has mentioned about a WB domicile being required at JU, here I recommend people having no information or less information should not answer and simply pass the question on. Jadavpur University along with some other self financing universities does not demand a WB domicile for admissions. Good luck to you.:)
