    Hi Ankit,
    As you have scored 96.42 percentile in jee mains, you are eligible to take admission in jmi. But, you need to participate in the counselling process wisely and smartly. Also you should wait till the last round of the counselling process.Apart from this, apply for the other colleges like middle and lower order nits like nit patna, nit Jalandhar, nit jamshedpur, nit Durgapur etc also, if you want to be in the safer side.
