I SEE many people say that LPU continuously upgrades its syllabus? How does it do it? And on what basis?

First of all congratulation for having thirst for deep information. YES it is true that LPU continuously upgrades its curriculum and makes it industry ready. LPU has a huge network in industry with over 600 regular recruiters and over 100000 alumni working all over the world. Since the placements and internships at LPU are a 24/365 affair along with huge number industry interactions with students, It is easier for LPU to be appraised about all the emerging trends and technologies which can be helpful for students in employability. Whenever the students are placed or go to internship, a full highly advanced feedback process is put in place to get the real time feed back of the student's performance, SWOT analysis of their skills etc. These feedback and other industry interactions form the basis of upgradation of the syllabi. All the faculty of LPU are every semester subjected to high end FDPs, conferences and symposiums which keep them updated on the latest research. This huge investment on intellectual capital with over 700 Ph.D. faculty makes it the perfect place for curriculum development.
