I think as suggested taxation, it is good for only those who want to be a CA which i dont want to be. is it right or wrong?

Knowledge of taxation is needed for every individual since it has direct impact on his cashflows. Evenif you don't wish to pursue CA, please gain an insight into tax-laws wherever & whenever possible.
