I took an optional subject in 12th but my result was calculated from 500 marks. How Mumbai university will counsel it from 500 or 600?

    That depends on the subject they consider mandatory for admissions. Different courses have a different combination of subjects. Please specify the course to which you are applying so that I may be able to populate relevant details. Regards.
