i'v done my B.E in Electrical & Electronics ,but i'v just 59% aggregate...i'm planning to do a course in embedded systems will it b helpful

i need to get into the IT sector .....i prefer doing embedded course,could u suggest me the various branches in this field & the one which is evergreen....i'm interested in the field & also need to know whether it shall b beneficial to me after choosing this field...
