I've 3-years gap after 12th & wish to take admissions in MS biotechnology abroad, what should I do? How will it affect my admissions?

You need a strong reference along with application with equally well interviews in some cases and must have a good explanation for your pause. The better you show social responsibility works link in NGOs and such, higher the chances you have in comparison to others, if your social welfare jobs were really impressive in terms of impact.
