I've 4-years of a gap in my engineering during its completion. Does this effect my admission chances in MS by any kind?

I have aggregate of 55 up to my 3rd year. And, definitely it is going to increase now in final year, as I am from Amravati University from Prestige College. So, from whom do I have to take reference letter?
