I've a study gap of 9-months. I'm going to join MBA at an Australian University. Will there be a problem for my student visa?

No, the student visa is generally allotted based on the reputation of the Australian university, course you have opted for, your academics record and proof of financial statements that you are able to provide regarding funding of your education. Many a times they also check on the intent of a student to return back to the parent country, so prepare well for the visa interview.
