I've an eyesight of -2.25 (right) & -2.5 (left), am I eligible for taking up marine engg. and become a merchant navy engine officer?
I am currently in 11th standard & have no other eye problems or any other medical problem. Kindly suggest me some options

6 years agoListen, it seems you are very much interested for marine engineering. You are eligible for maritime engineering with spectacles but you are not eligible for navy. I will give you an advice which I did, I had -1.25 power but I reduced that to -0.5 by eating Amla twice a day and do some eye exercises, you may become eligible for navy also if you have 1 year then.
