You will be able to put to use CA in IRS. IAS may have nothing much to do with your CA

Hi,
The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected.
It has three-step process i.e.
Preliminary Exam (Prelims)
Main Exam (Mains), and
Interview.
The eligibility criteria to appear in this exam are:

Well going by your prior education background, I may suggest you to go for IRS (Indian Revenue Services), one of the most prestigious services in the country. The IRS officers are posted in departments such as Income Tax, Central Excise and Service Tax as well as in Customs.
