Hello! As far as I know, one can appear for the CAT exam irrespective of the gap between the academics(after graduation in this case). But only those who have scored at least 50% marks in graduation are eligible for CAT.

Yes, you are eligible for CAT exam but remember that if you are aiming for IIMs through your CAT score then you must have worked somewhere for 2 years or any strong reason should be there to fill for your gap years. Good luck.
