In most colleges, the process of admission to Master of Design is through an entrance examination. This is known as Common Entrance Examination for Design CEED it is conducted by IIT Mumbai every year. The test is designed to test the skills of the candidate like, color sensitiveness, structure, perception, innovation and aptitude towards the discipline. The test is followed by a process of personal interview. There are some colleges which take direct admission. Apply for NIFT, get good rank and chose preferences of NIFT College near you like Chennai or Bengaluru. You can also apply CEED or NID for M.Des. There is one more college in Chennai which is good-DJ acedemy of art and design.
