I've completed Diploma in computer engineering. I wasted my 3 years. What should I do for a bright future?

After a Diploma in computer engineering, one may go for Masters education. M.E. /M.Tech. Programme will enable one to specialize in disciplines within the Computer Engineering sector. Some such areas of specialisation are- Embedded Systems VLSI Design Information Protection Computer Architecture Mobile Computing Hardware Technology Computer Networking Operating System Other than M.E. /M.Tech. , graduates may also go for MCA (Master of Computer Application) or M.Sc. In Computer Science. If you are interested in management programme, you may go for MBA programme. Career scope after completing Diploma in CSE: Job opportunities are available in Government as well as Private sector enterprises. Computer Engineering Diploma holders may work as software or hardware engineers in such enterprises. Self employment is another good opportunity available in front of computer engineers. One may become an independent software engineer or start own hardware sales/support service. Computer engineers may also find a job in IT Companies. Computer manufacturing units are also known to recruit computer engineers. Firms designing and manufacturing sensors, VLSI chips, microcontrollers, microprocessors, circuit boards, computer systems and other such parts are also known to recruit computer engineers. Telecom sector companies are also well known recruiters. One may also find work at software development firms. These days, the field of app development has been developing at great pace. One may find a job in this field also. These days, most organizations and companies (Power, healthcare, education, manufacturing etc. ). Are reliant on computers. It is safe to say that computer engineers are required by them for the development, maintenance and repair of such computer systems. Common job profiles include- Software Engineer Hardware Engineer Networking Engineer Software Tester Web Designer App Developer Project Engineer.
