    LPU offers a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering with Lateral Entry for diploma holders who wish to pursue degree studies. Since you hold a diploma in mechanical engineering, you qualify and can apply for the B.Tech program in Aerospace Engineering at LPU. The lateral entry means that you would begin the course in the second year and thereby be able to reduce the length of the program to 3 years.

    The eligibility criteria (qualifying exam) are as follows: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (English) (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2nd year. after 10+2 (non-medical) or B.Sc. (non-medical) or B.Sc. (computer science) or equivalent, depending on LPUNEST qualifications. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) Admission Criteria: Merit in qualifying examination, subject to eligibility criteria. Fee and Scholarship: Fee is 120000 INR per semester without scholarship.

    It's very nice to know that you want to do graduation in engineering after completion of your Mechanical Engineering Diploma.
