Hi there, The SSC CHSL age limit for the posts has been set at a minimum 18 years and a maximum of 27 years. The minimum educational criteria to write the SSC CHSL exam is to have passed the 12ths standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised university board. SSC conducts the CHSL exam :

You should pass class 12th first and if you completed, then you are eligible for this exam.

Yes 18year on Aug 2019 was for chsl 2019 if you are applying for chsl 2020 then you can apply for it if you are 18 in Aug2020.
