I've completed my B.Com. In which field should I do MBA?

Hey Asif, First of all, you need to see the specialization in which you have pursued your B.Com degree. Based on that, you should choose the specialization during your MBA. Now, let me tell you in a glance the major specializations offered by the management colleges in India. There are institutions which offer you dual specialization, marketing being compulsory in many management colleges. 1. FINANCE: Finance could your topmost priority as you have done B.Com in your under graduation. If you are good at calculations, you can go for it. 2. MARKETING: Marketing, being the trend of management, would be invariably a good choice. It depends on how passionate you are to travel, how you can manipulate things to bring them under your control, how clever you can be at bargaining and convincing people. This is all about marketing. Leading to a marketing job would allot you specified targets which you need to accomplish under stipulated time, which brings on a lot of stress, but if you are good at managing it, then you can go for it. 3. OPERATIONS: Now coming to operations, you should be careful. Not coming from a technical background, it would be difficult for you to land up a job. Still, if you want to take up operations, you would be getting up a job in the service sector of operations, which does not involve technical work. 4. BFSI: BFSI (Banking, Finance and Insurance Sector) is a mixture of Banking, Finance and Insurance. It can be called a branch of Finance specially designed for students who are completely focused to take up banking as their career. This indeed is a new specialization allotted in many B-schools. Lastly, I would say take up the specialization which you think you can be good at. Everyone around you would suggest you many alternatives. Marketing & Finance are the best in MBA. Today, there is more scope in economy and finance if you do MBA. MBA in Marketing: The students who have done the MBA in marketing have a lot of job opportunities in government and private sectors. You can be part of direct marketing or digital marketing. By the growing technology in the world, the concept of marketing is not limited to door to door sales. It has a wide variety of technologies. You can do the marketing by the social media, pay-per-click, web designing, search engine optimization, search media optimization and articles. The candidates having MBA in marketing degree can earn 40,000 to 65,000 per month in India. The salary structure depends on the position and reputation of the employer firm. MBA in Finance: Finance MBA holders can work in banking and non-banking sectors. You can work anywhere in the corporate world. Every industry has a need for a financial expert for maintaining the balance of capital. The students, who have done the MBA in finance, have a lot of job opportunities in government and the private sector. He/she can be a part of the stock market, top-notch organizations, finance ministry and related organizations. Besides, an MBA finance person with a CA can run his own business. It is a well-paying degree course. Salary is no bar for the qualified and skilled ones. A financial manager can earn the INR 5,00,000 to 12,00,000 per annum.
