I've completed my B.Tech biotechnology 1st year in Ahmedabad, can I clear the entrance exam and get B.Tech in 2nd-year?

Hi there,
Yes if you crack the entrance you will get your desired college but you will not get direct admission in 2nd year as lateral entry to 2nd year directly is only allowed for diploma students not regular B.tech students. Hope you got your answer. -
College change or university change after the first year is completely dependent on college and university norms, some university allow it and some won't plus you need to have good scores in first year to apply for the same. For further details, contact the college authorities.
