JB, You have not mentioned the state where you wish to pursue the B.Tech course. However the following are the good government. Colleges offers B.Tech lateral programs. The admission in B.Tech lateral courses are based on own lateral entrance exams conducted by respective colleges. Further student have completed his three years of engineering Diploma with 60% of marks.
1. Delhi Technological University
2. Guru Going Singh Indraprastha University. Delhi
3. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. -
Well, you have given a lot of criteria but what I think is you need to choose between two things. First, Knowledge and possibility of getting a descent job in future from a good college or the second one which is completing your B.Tech from a mediocre college with all the facilities you want to get like fees, distance from home, low restriction and all. But if you choose the second one, you may get low knowledge and have low chance of getting a descent job in future. If I were you, I would have choose the first one. Now, there must be some personal preferences for you obviously. Choose wisely. Good luck.
