After Diploma in mechanical engineering, you can take lateral entry in B.Tech but you cannot take admission in B.Sc. As it requires +2 in Science. I have completed Diploma. So, I am saying it from personal experience. All the best.

Diploma is considered to be equivalent to +2, so you can go for B.Sc. But, looking at your profile, B.Tech Mechanical / Automobile/ Production branches suits to you more. And, if you go for B.Tech, it will give an advantage in future.

Yes. You can do the B.Sc but I will suggest you to go with engineering. It will explore your area of knowledge and professional life also.

Yes. Diploma is considered equivalent to 12th and you will be able to pursue B.Sc without any trouble.
