I've completed my graduation in B.Sc & I want to do PG, would taking a drop of a year & preparation for IIT JAM be beneficial?

Dear Prachi, Dropping a year is only meaningful if you are confident enough to get the despaired result. Firstly, just go through IIT JAM. If you think that one year preparation is sufficient for you to get the desired branch and stream, you can drop otherwise you may look for any other college.
