For admission, you need to qualify entrance exam i.e, LEET. You can for B. Tech (3 years) through lateral entry. Diploma holders in any stream are eligible to take admission, in the second year of the course. They must have done their diploma after 10th (3 year) with min 50% or after class12th (2 year) and they need to qualify LEET. Various engineering colleges in India also offer direct admission to diploma holders in second year of the course and in reputed institutes, after completing diploma student gets entry in second year of B. Dear Davendra, You can get lateral entry in B.Tech. For admission in government colleges, you need to clear LEET test. There are many good private universities, like Lovely Professional University, Manipal University, SRM, etc. are offering B.Tech. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both.
