I've done electronics engg and have 58% in engg. I'm planning to pursue MBA in finance. Is it good that I choose finance or MBA in Telecom?

Someone suggested that during placements students with BBA will have edge over me. Since I have electronics engineering background should go for MBA telecom. Please give me honest answers.

    Hi,
I am also an engineer and this is misconception about the MBA - Finance and Engineering. Engineers are more likely to go higher than any non engineer in MBA Finance because we guys study it from beginning and have great basics skills developed after MBA in Finance whereas Non Engineers don't focus on basic. Secondly, It will be sure difficult as portion for study but not impossible. I have asked many Finance Corporate about this everyone said that they will prefer engineers because of Technical, analytical and Mathematical skills. So, I would recommend you to go for MBA Finance and if you want to trail then read 11th and 12th Accou

Yes, the GITAM School of Business Visakhapatnam follows a semester system of study for the BBA programmes. The GITAM School of Business, Vishakhapatna, follows a semester-wise subjects offering, and in every semester there are either new subjects or the extended subjects of the former semesters. As usual, the full-time MBA programme is spread across four semesters, and each semester lasts for six months. There could be a provision if you knock through from back in any subject. However, to know this provision, it is suggested to contact the institute.
