I've done my masters in commerce but I'm interested to do Ph.D in cultural anthropology. Will the colleges accept my academics background?

For applying to Master in Anthropology, you need to have need to have completed their Master's degree in philosophy, some colleges accept may accept Masters degree graduates in any other discipline as well. If the necessary entrance tests have been cleared at the Masters level, the candidates may be credited for the same and can bypass it while pursuing their Ph.D. under the UGC. Colleges offering this cousre are Savitribai Phule Pune University, Punjab University, GD Goenka University, Hans Raj College, Viva Bharati University.
