I've done my MSW from Periyar University, Salem in distance mode and have acquired 70+% and am already 35. Am I eligible for NET?

    Hello Prakash,I appreciate your question for the UGC NET Exam. Well, if you have completed Masters in the given subject you are eligible to appear in the NET Exam. The NET Exam is conducted every year for the aspirants want to make career in the lectureship and Research programme. The NET Exam do not have any age limit if you are 35 years old you can appear in the NET Exam. The JRF Exam is conducted for the Scholarship programme where an aspirant who qualifies this exam is provided the scholarship worth INR 25000 per month.   • Hi, yes you are eligible for NET for assistant professor exam, but not for JRF. Since, PRIDE is UGC approved, your PG is eligible for NET. There is no upper age limit for NET in assistant professor exam.
