I've done three yrs diploma frm BTE and want to know which course I should go for to enhance my career. Is BSc NT is better frm SMU.
Hi, I've done three years diploma in CS and working as SE for two and a half years and want to know which courses are better to opt for to enhance my career because i've not done my graduation. I want to do it from distance education. Is BSc NT better from SMU or any other course. Please guide.

Hi,
It seems you interested for a career in Networking.
It is advisable to pick B.E/B.TECH degree through lateral entry and simultaneously a short term course such as-
Cisco Certified Network Associate
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
CompTIA Network+ 2009
This will help you in enhancing your career and also you can easily proceed with masters in future.
Opportunities exist within larger IT firms, either dealing with the company's own systems or working in their contract services.
With experience, you can progress to network management roles or, with additional training, move into other areas of IT such as project management.
