    If you are really up for the challenge of engineering and find some qualities that engineering would give you, you definitely should go for it. Just get the taste of engineering and you'll forget all your previous experiences.

    Hello,
    One opts for Diploma programme as they are sure to build their career in that field. Instrumentation and IT are very different fields. With instrumentation, you can get into mechanical engg., but IT is difficult, as do not have the basic training for it.
