TNEA Rank List 2019 - Anna University will release the rank list of TNEA 2019 tentatively in the fourth week of June in online mode. The candidates will have to login using their registered email id and password to check TNEA 2019 rank list. Candidates must note that the rank list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by candidates in the prescribed subjects in qualifying exam, after reducing them to a base of 200 (Physics + Chemistry =100, Mathematics =100). Also, a normalization method will be used to prepare the rank list. In case of a tie between two or more candidates the inter-se merit will be determined using a set of parameters including issue of random number. The rank list will be prepared considering the marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics after reducing them to a base of 200 (Physics + Chemistry =100, Mathematics =100)
Mathematics will carry maximum weightage (100), while Physics and Chemistry will combined have weightage of 100. The scores will be normalized and the following method will be used for normalization:
Normalization of Marks: Considering there may be variation in difficulty level between the State Board of Tamil Nadu and other Boards or Authorities, the marks will be equated by adopting a normalization process. In this process, if the highest mark obtained by a candidate of Tamil Nadu Board is 100, in say Chemistry, and by a student from another board is 90, both the scores will be treated as equal to 100. If another candidate of the same board scores 60 in the subject (where the highest mark is 90), it will be considered as equivalent to 66.66. 100*60/90 = 66.66
After normalizing the scores, the candidates will be put on a common merit list.

If you apply with JEE Main scores, CU primarily considers your JEE Main percentile / AIR for admission.

If your 12th result has not been announced yet then

Upload expected / provisional marks for now.

Final admission depends on the official 12th mark sheet after results are announced.

Colleges are used to this situation, especially for students applying in early cycles.

Hi.

AIIMS is primarily a medical college/university (undergraduate, postgraduate, super-speciality, etc.) + a hospital.

Its courses begin after Class 12 — i.e. you must have completed 12th standard (10+2) to be eligible for entry into courses like MBBS, B.Sc., etc.

The official course list of AIIMS includes medical and allied health degrees — not school-level classes (11th / 12th) as per its academic catalogue.

Thus, AIIMS itself does not run 11th and 12th standard as a school.
