    Hi Rahul,
SDMCET is a good college, if you want to take admission specifically in BE(CSE & ISE) , seeing last year trends of COMEDK at SDMCET, I must say that there are very less chances of getting B.Tech (CSE and ISE). With this rank, as in first counselling, the closing rank of CSE is approximately 16,000 and for B.Tech (ISE), it is around 20,000 and in 2nd round of COMEDK counselling, it goes up to 26,000 rank. However you can still try your luck and there might be a chance of getting B.Tech (ISE) in extended round of COMEDK counselling.

Yes, to get into its B.E./B.Tech course, SDM College of Engineering and Technology in Dharwad does not demand a score in KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) as a matter of first choice among candidates who have to apply under government quota. The other categories are also accepted by them on COMEDK UGET. Moreover, it has the management quota which might have some marks in other entrance tests such as JEE Main or institute level specifications. Thus, KCET score is one of the common and significant ways of admission.
