I've got 84.99%ile in JEE Mains & chose BC category in the application form as OBC wasn't there but the result shows general, what to do?

    BC stands for Backward Classes and OBC stands for Other Backward Classes. Government gives more reservation to BC than OBC. Otherwise, the privilege given to both communities are same in our society. Second thing there are two options in it type 1 and type 2. if you have selected type 1 then it will be treated as general and type 2 as obc. If its showing general then you can't apply for IIT as you are not eligible for JEE advance because you haven't cleared the cut-off.
