The minimum criteria for seeking admission into MBA is 50% marks at graduation level. So, since you have only 44% marks you are not eligible for MBA. However, you can starting working and post acquiring 2+ years of work experience you can explore distance MBA, Executive MBA or part time MBA options.

If you belong to general category, then there is no chance. If you belong to SC/ST or any reserve category, then you have a chance to get admission for MBA programme.

Any student with a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks (45% marks in the case of the candidate belonging to reserved categories) in his/her graduation or degree exam from a recognized university is eligible for an MBA degree. And, final year students awaiting their results are also eligible.
