I've score 79% in cat with a decent academic track record while excelling in co cullicular activities as well what are my chances to get in?

Hello, the cut off is usually in the 80-85 percentile range. But if you have a good track record, you might get through to the next round of admissions.

As u r on boundary line of cuttoff for welingkar but as u r telling u have good academic record u can expect a call from welingkar

There is no specific cut off as mentioned by the college.However its usually between 80-85% ,apply and try your chances

There is no CAT PI shortlist for IIMs. Candidates have to simply login with their CAT credentials and fill the PI shortlist form.

There is no minimum qualifying marks for CAT. Anybody scoring above 0 in the exam is eligible for admission, however the B-Schools select candidates on the basis of cut offs which are 60 and above percentile.

The final CAT cutoff are not released publically. However, candidates can check qualifying cut offs in the admission criteria document released by IIMs and other institute before the exam.
