Since you have fetched 149/300, or 1 less than the absolute minimum of 150 marks set for eligibility for appearing at higher secondary level. Your best remedy would be that you consult either your education board or school head. There have been boards wherein if a person did not happen to achieve eligible marks, just one mark more would have gained him eligibility status, and his school would easily allow him/her to appear once again in an HSC Exam.

Yes, you can reappearance for the HSC boards to enhance your marks. Many students opt for this by sitting for an Improvement Exam or by re- enrollment for the 12th board exams.

Here is what you can do
    1. Improvement Exams Application: For details regarding this, refer to the concerned education board (State or CBSE).
    2. Re-enrollment in HSC: You may re-enroll in any recognised school to take back your 12th board exams.

This will surely fulfill the eligibility criteria of NEET. Good luck!

    Hello,

"Yes, you can appear for HSC (12th board) exams again to improve your marks and meet the eligibility criteria for NEET. Many state boards and open schools like NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) allow students to reappear as private candidates or through improvement exams'.

'Ensure that the board you choose is recognised by NEET. Once you score the minimum required marks (50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC) in PCB, you will be eligible to apply for NEET. Contact your school or respective state board for detailed guidance on the re-examination process.
