I've scored 72.38 percentile in CAT 2016. What are my chances of getting into a good college? For which colleges should I apply?

I'm a girl, NC-OBC, my edu background being 10th : 91%, 12th Science : 69% and Grad BA ENG :73%.

    Hi,
The answer depends on a few more factors like your reservation category (most important) and your 12th stream (arts, science or commerce), work experience, etc.
Different IIMs consider different parameters while giving calls.
Considering you are from general category, there seem very low chances of getting a call and even if that happens, getting a final admission seems unlikely.
You can also visit the following link to find out the IIMs you are actually eligible to and your tentative chances of getting a call:

You can try for Doon Business School, Dehradun. The admission is still going on and the college provides SAP and Six Sigma courses bundled with the university course of MBA.

CAT cut offs do not flutuate much. For the past few years, the CAT exam cut offs for IIMs or other top colleges have not seen much change. If there is any change at all, it is in decimals. However, that decimal point too can make or mar admission chances. CAT cut offs for 2026 admission will largely remain the same as the CAT 2025 exam difficulty level was same as last year and number of takers dipped from last year.

CAT cut offs for IIM admission 2026 batch will not change. They will remain high between 92-100 percentile. Top 6 IIM cut offs will be between 98-100, while the cut offs for rest of them will be between 92-97.

There will be no option of result evaluation in CAT 2025. Candidates cannot challenge the scorecard. Marks and percentiles printed on CAT 2025 result cum scorcard will be final.

CAT result is not released offline. Candidates have to download it from the iimcat.ac.in website only. The scorecard is available for download for 1 year.

As the Manipal University CAT Cutoff 2025 is not out yet, according to the Manipal University CAT Cutoff 2024, the qualifying cutoff was 25 percentile for General category candidates under the All India quota. The CAT cutoff for 2023 was also the same. So, going by the previous years' cutoff trends, the CAT Cutoff 2025 would fall around this level.

Please note that this is just an estimation and the actual cutoff may vary.
