I wanna ask that can I study a regular course along with a distance course and a certificate course at the same time?

I'm currently in B.tech mech 1st year in session 2011-2015 as regular one in visakhapatnam. I also wanna study B.sc geology And a certificate course in Japanese language through distance program in this session only 2011-2014. I just wanna know can I study this and how? Is this legal or illegal ?

    I don't think it is legal. Even if you do the courses at the same time by enrolling in different universities, you will never be able to show them together on your resume. Moreover, it is very important to learn the basics of your present syllabus thoroughly, if you want to make it to a good company. Why would you want to scatter your energy?

    One can study many courses simultaneously if one has the capacity. However, I have come to know that in India one cannot take more than one degree in the same academic year. So you need to take care of this aspect.
