In either ways whether opting for BA LL.B or LL.B course, you will have to invest a minimum of 5 years; as to pursue a LL.B degree the minimum requirement is to have a graduation in any discipline. So instead of first opting for graduation and then LL.B, I would advise you to opt for the

Write the law entrance exam and get in to the best college in the country.
Always for a 5yrs it is better you do BA LLB which will help you much better.
