i want a careerin auto industry,but my kcet rank wont allow mech branch in top 5 college...should i go for Ind. engg and managmnt?wat others

hello sir! i hv completd my class 12 and waiting for results...i wish to know that if i want to find a career in auto industry then which branch should i opt(keeping masters option open) my kcet ranking wont allow me to get machanical in top5 college....so should i take up IEM ..??
